Requirements
All drivers must be aged
between 21 to 70 years and have held a clean valid driving licence for
two years. Certain endorsements are accepted if the driver is over the
age 24. We require proof of the drivers address such as a recent
utility bill or bank statement. If you are in the possession of a new
photo licence we require both the photo card and the endorsement
section, without which we cannot rent.
Insurance
Drivers 25 years to 70 years
comprehensive insurance is included in the hire rate with a deductible
excess of £500. which can be reduced to £250 for £5 a day. The hirer is responsible for loss or damage
up to that amount.
Drivers 21 years to 25 years comprehensive insurance is included with a
deductible excess of £750. The hirer is responsible for loss or damage
up to that amount. .
Mileage
Charges
All rentals are unlimited
mileage, excluding single day rentals where there is a limit of 300
miles after which there is a charge of 20p per mile plus vat.
Payment
Payment is required at the
commencement of the rental together with the deductible excess. Any
mileage charges will be taken at the end of the hire. A valid credit or
debit card is required for payment with pin number where applicable.
Please note that we do not except Amex, Diners or Electron cards.
Overdue
Rentals
A charge of £10 per hour
for the first 3 hours after which a full days charge may be levied.
Vehicle
Condition
The vehicle should be
returned in a reasonably clean state. We reserve the right to charge
for cleaning excessive soiling, pet hairs or rubbish.
Smoking
in hire vehicles is not allowed.
Parking
Offences Traffic Offences and Congestion Charges
A processing
fee of £25 will be charged to the hirers card on all unpaid fines.
Please pay these before return.
Overnight
Returns
A key drop facility is
provided for out of hours returns however the vehicle remains the
responsibility of the hirer until 8.30am the next
morning. The hirer must confirm a safe return by midday.
PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF THE GATES IN THE ARCHES.
This is an EMERGENCY EXIT and the vehicle will be towed away with fines
of up to £200. This will be the hirer's responsibility.
